Reporting to the CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the development and implementation of POL’s financial management strategy in a way that builds credibility, trust and transparency with internal and external stakeholders. S/He ensures that the enterprise is sustained through strong internal systems, diversified funding, and a strategic and compelling position in the external world. S/He has direct responsibility for enterprise wide strategy, performance, and risk management. S/He assumes responsibility for all business functions associated with the smooth operation of a national organization operating in multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program development, project and event management, facility with analytics and measurement and exceptional partnership and relationship building skills. This position will collaborate with POL departments and external partners and stakeholders. This position reports to the Vice President of generationOn and will work closely with the Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer and the generationOn staff as a member of a lean, high-energy and fast-moving team.
generationOn is seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience developing content for kids and teens. The successful candidate will have experience writing engaging and instructional content for youth and adults and will have meticulous attention to detail and excellent editing skills. Experience with youth service or service-learning a plus.
ServiceWorks VISTA Program members will develop a youth service and employability training program to provide professional development, networking, and project management skills, ultimately increasing employability for young adults (16‐24 year‐olds) participating in the program. VISTAs will engage volunteers to support training provision, mentorship and long‐term program sustainability.
