Position Overview:

generationOn is seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience developing content for kids and teens. The successful candidate will have experience writing engaging and instructional content for youth and adults and will have meticulous attention to detail and excellent editing skills. Experience with youth service or service-learning a plus.

Content Development

  • Identify gaps and/or irregularities in existing content and correct/add as needed
  • Develop web content, service projects, facts sheets and more  in collaboration with the generationOn program team
  • Work with Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications and Digital Marketing Coordinator to develop cohesive tone across website copy
  • Edit and update website copy in

Qualifications and Core Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience writing and editing content for youth and adults
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, youth service and/or service learning
  • Web-based research skills
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, and personal initiative with the desire and ability to meet aggressive strategic goals, and to work independently within an entrepreneurial and creative culture
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
